"Hi Christine,
My lifestyle at one point (over 10 years ago) included a lot of high intensity activity that allowed me to eat whatever I wanted. With the onset of asthma problems and chronic plantar fasciitis, I no longer could do these high intensity activities.  Unfortunately,  I was still eating as if I were doing the same activities.  My eating habits only worsened. Along with decreased calories being burned and my metabolism slowing down with age, the weight gradually crept up on me -------30lbs----a lot for a petite female.   Aside from the superficial changes (multi level Buddha belly oozing out of my now double digit sized clothing, etc....) , I also had medical issues--worsened plantar fasciitis, elevated blood pressure, acid reflux, low endurance, chronic fatigue, etc...

I tried to lose weight on my own------yeah, didn't happen.  I tried Weight Watchers----not for me.  I decided to give Your Ideal Body a try.  I had seen them at some local festivals and passed by their office frequently.  After meeting with Christine for a consult, I knew that I wanted to make the commitment right then and there on Nov 3, 2015. She was easy to talk to  and the program made a lot of sense.   This program sounded like it would help me develop healthier eating habits.  The fact that the program included no exercise  for the first 2 phases (of 4) was attractive since I couldn't really exercise.  The first couple of weeks were not difficult for me, but then it started to get challenging for me because I am addicted to sweets.  I started cheating a little here and there so my weight loss fluctuated.  Luckily, Christine was very patient and understanding and worked with me and helped me through my challenges with advice, listening, and some light hearted "scolding".  She even let me video tape her "reminding (scolding) "me that I made a lot of progress and shouldn't let it go to waste.  She is very motivating and fun to work with.  We have done a lot of healthy laughing. I was amazed that without exercising and just being on the program, I was losing weight easily.  I even followed the program on Thanksgiving Day at my in-laws'.  

I made it to maintenance phase May 20, 2016.  I lost a total of 23.6 lbs, 8 inches from my waist, 6 inches from my hips, 4 +inches from each thigh, 1+inches from each arm, 4+inches from chest, 6 inches from thorax.   I had to get a new wardrobe (yea!!).  I have so much more energy---started power walking and hiking with no more fatigue.  Feet are doing much better.  Went for a physical---blood pressure went down, cholesterol  went down.  No more acid reflux---Bye bye Tums!  I actually have  a waist line ---bye bye Buddha belly!
I have now developed a consistent routine of drinking more water, eating more vegetables and protein and a lot less carbs and sugar.  Buying a lot less processed, prepackaged foods.  

I plan on meeting with Christine every 2 weeks to keep myself in check then will gradually decrease the frequency.  Not sure for how long I will need to meet with her for maintenance, but it is nice to know she is there when I need her.  I will definitely miss her once we stop meeting.  I definitely recommend this program----it truly is a healthy way to lose the weight and develop and maintain a healthy eating lifestyle."

"I am 61 yrs old and have worked predominately with women for 39 yrs.
There never was a day when one of us was not on a diet and if we saw someone losing weight we found out the plan and did it too….for about 2 weeks and maybe if we were lucky lost 5-10lbs but always it was regained…including me. Last year I noticed that several of my staff who were significantly overweight…(at least 50 lbs.) were losing weight AND they were happy and they were staying on it.  I was guilty of thinking…it won’t last…they will fall off the wagon and all the weight will be back with a vengeance…

"Wow! I cannot thank you enough – I feel great… I love the way I look… I’ve never received so many compliments from family and friends about my appearance. When I was first introduced to Ideal Protein, I was skeptical. Let’s face it, I was a solid size 10 heading very quickly to becoming a comfortable 12 and wasn’t sure I really needed to change my eating habits. I mean, I had lost a few pounds on my own just by walking a bit more and eating a few less desserts a week. I was sure it was just a matter of time before the last 10 or pounds I wanted gone would just melt off. That is, of course, until I attended one of Christine Masterson’s workshops. She passed around a 5 pound solid mass of fat – a symbol of just half of what I was carrying around on my hips, thighs, chest, arms and face. That was the eye-opener for me. I just wanted it gone.   So, in 5 weeks I managed to lose 10-1/2 pounds!!! I lost 2-1/2” in my chest (my hubby didn’t seem to mind); 2-1/2” in my waist and 1-1/4” in my hips. I’ve gone from an almost size 12 to a happy size 6 without a muffin top. My eating habits have drastically improved – I actually eat and steam asparagus and brussel sprouts and roast them in a little bit of olive oil, garlic and salt for a snack. (It really is good.) And, the side benefit to this has been the positive impact on my family. Our three sons, who are picky eaters, now eat brown rice, whole wheat bread and edamame – haven’t been able to get them to try the brussel sprouts and asparagus yet. "I came to Christine through a recommendation from my wife, who not only had told me how well the program works for her (which she did not have to tell me as the results were quite visible!), but mentioned that it actually could be a great program to help control my diabetes. You see I am a long time (almost 25 years) Type I diabetic, and although I had reasonable control knew that I could do better. With four young kids and a growing business, I realized that this must become a priority if I plan to live long enough to see my kids and their kids grow up!   I went on the program mainly to help gain better control over my blood sugar and diabetes, and losing weight was secondary in my mind. "On February 29, 2012, I met with Christine Masterson at Your Ideal Body, Inc. for the first time. I weighed 246 pounds and fit into the “Morbidly Obese” category of the BMI. My primary care physician was encouraging me to have Lap-Band surgery. Since I did not want to have surgery, I needed to do something about my weight. But even more pressing, I was seeing an endocrinologist for Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) and insulin resistance. I was taking 2,000 mg of Glucophage (Metformin) daily. I also could not get through the day without a nap or two, feeling exhausted all the time. At the beginning of February, I had blood work done. My cholesterol could not be calculated because my triglycerides were over 400. I was a heart attack waiting to happen.
For the five weeks I have been on the Ideal Protein plan, I have never deviated from the daily food, water, and supplements that are required. Because of this, I have lost 25.25 pounds and numerous inches. I no longer fall into the “Morbidly Obese” BMI category, and even though I still have more weight to lose, the changes in my body medically have been incredible. I am down to only 500 mg of Glucophage each day. My goal is to be completely off of the medication in another month or two.
I had blood work done at the four week mark of my diet and the results were amazing. My cholesterol is 152, and my blood pressure at the doctor’s visit was 110/70. My energy level is outstanding. "It seems like I have wanted to lose 10 or 20 pounds for as long as I can remember. Lose them, gain them back, that was just the way it has always been. With my forties came some new life stresses and changes. Next thing I know I've gained 10, then 20 and still gaining. The losing wasn't happening anymore! For a while, I decided I was meant to be a fat person and I could be okay with that. When I turned 50, I questioned my reasoning. After all, I know carrying extra weight is unhealthy and I didn't recognize that jolly woman in pictures that were supposed to be of me.

A friend had been raving about the Ideal Protein Diet. I was reluctant to spend money on another diet plan. But after a lot of back and forth in my brain and graduation pictures with my daughters looming in the near future, I decided to go for it and give it my best shot.

From the first day, Christine has been my reality check, like my own Jiminy Cricket. I learned about the diet, but I had a wedding to go to in 2 weeks. Christine agreed that I could wait to start or I could be already down in pounds in those 2 weeks. Hmm. OK, I got started.

Right away, I lost weight and inches. Consistently. 2 pounds here, 3 pounds there. Little by little my pants were getting loose. At one point, Christine forbid me to wear the pants I was wearing in her presence. With the belt on the tightest buckle, they were bunched up around my waist and my ankles were showing!

Sometimes I would worry about going to an event and offending people by not indulging in the food. My diet mentor, Jiminy, said in passing that I didn't have to eat to make someone else happy. I didn't? Well, it took me a while to accept the truth of that, but it is true. No one actually cared what I was or wasn't eating and my friends were enthusiastic about my determination and steady success. Doing well at my weekly measuring and weigh in was more important to me than overeating. I started to realize that I wasn't depriving myself, I was being good to the self I wanted to be. (Aha!)

So now when I look in the mirror, I am kind of delighted! And the best part is, I never have to have that conversation in my head about losing some weight starting Monday or next Monday. I'm done. Christine is stuck with me for a while though, as we tackle the maintenance phase. I hope to master it, so this will truly be my last diet."

"As many women do, I’ve struggled with my weight since the birth of my first child over 12 years ago. I’ve had limited to no success with weight loss programs over the long-term because of crazy work, school and social schedules.
